"We believe that God's words have real power and as we speak it to our Muslim friends they will respond."

LCM missionary, Alice Cooper, is passionate about working alongside churches to reach the Muslim community.

Whether it's by knocking on the doors of her neighbours or through an English speaking classes, Alice seizes every opportunity to build Christ-centred friendships to share the gospel.

"At the moment I'm running an English class with all Muslim women, all 12 of them stayed so to listen to the Bible story at the end. There is still a spiritual hunger.

During the Muslim festival, Eid, Alice took the opportunity to take some sweets around to a Muslim neighbour, who also returned the gesture, and has in turned strengthened their relationship. "I've been like connecting with them ever since. So just something very simple like that, just showing some friendship, just talking to your neighbours is a very simple way of just starting."
