Marcia joined the board in 2015. She is a retired family lawyer who specialised in representing children, parents and other family members in court proceedings where the local authority had concerns that children had been subjected to neglect or abuse.
As a result of her work, she developed an interest in Christian rehabilitation programmes and ministries to the marginalised.
She worked as a Chaplaincy volunteer for 17 years. Initially at HMP Holloway, and then at HMP Pentonville.
She has also been involved with Teen Challenge, nationally and internationally, and has over 25 years' experience working amongst those struggling with drug and alcohol addictions.
Marcia lives in east London and attends Shoreline Calvary North London. She has two grown-up children and two grandchildren.
