Welcoming people who are displaced

At London City Mission, we want to reach everyone in communities least likely to hear the gospel – including people who have been forced to flee from their homeland because of war or persecution.

Across London, we’re working alongside churches to prepare a Christ-like welcome to people searching for home. We want them to know there is a community of Christians who are ready to show compassionate and care.

However, while many of us have a heart to welcome people who have been displaced, often we don't know where to start.

LCM Field Director, Charlotte Mayhew shares ten principles in this free guide, drawn from our experience of supporting and welcoming vulnerable people seeking refuge.

We hope you and your church will find it a helpful starting point to sharing the love of Jesus with people in need of hope.
