Sister Inez found door-knocking uncomfortable at first, but partnering with Denzel has given her a new-found confidence. She is now “definitely a force to be reckoned with and really senses the urgency of the gospel…she goes straight for the jugular!”
“It might be their last day on earth. Who knows. We don’t know what tomorrow brings. We need to tell them about the love of God and what He’s done for them, and that they can have eternal life when they leave this earth.” Inez sees door ministry for what it is: life-saving work.

For many people Church seems like a distant idea, an institution, or something irrelevant to their daily lives. But door-knocking is a great way to bridge the divide – to bring the church to the people.
As Denzel puts it: “In doing door knocking we can actually be a bit like Jesus. God could have saved us by staying in heaven and being on His throne. But instead, He came to us, put on a body, came face-to-face to us.”
“In that sense, people don’t only know the church through a flyer, they’re knowing the true church by meeting other people… and building relationship with them.”
