Sarah Olumegbon

Mission Associate for Operation Forgiveness

"Our vision is to share the love and forgiveness of Jesus with confidence, compassion and imagination"

Sarah is a mission associate working with Jason and Tayo O’Shea in LCM's Operation Forgiveness Ministry.

"Operation Forgiveness is a cause close to my heart because the ministry started after losing my youngest son Zac to knife crime," says Sarah.

The ministry is about sharing the impact and ripple effect of the issues surrounding knife crime. The team share their own story of how the Lord strengthened them to forgive the perpetrators involved in Zac's murder through the healing that occurred in the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus.

Sarah explains their vision - "Our vision is to share the love and forgiveness of Jesus with confidence, compassion and imagination. We seek to engage with young people, especially those on the margins of society, to turn away from violence. We aim to empower and mobilise churches to deliver Operation Forgiveness to schools in their communities, especially in communities where the churches are playing a key role in combatting serious youth violence."
