James Tredgett

Team Leader James currently works in Hackney, and his heart is to see a move of God in council estates as people come to know Jesus.

In amongst the up and coming neighborhoods which Hackney has become famous for, are pockets of communities largely unreached by the gospel - such as the large Turkish community in the North of the borough. It also has one of the largest crime rates in the capital.

James’s strategy is to develop mission partnerships with churches to reach out to those struggling with poverty and loneliness in the area.

With the right support and encouragement, local congregations have the potential to reach out alongside James and his team effectively. They do many home visits, regularly host book tables, do open-air preaching and street work. They also host Bible studies with groups of people from all walks of life.
