Isabella Dias

Mission Associate in Newham and Waltham Forest

"My desire is to witness God being glorified in the lives of those who do not yet know him.”

Isabella grew up in a Christian home in Brazil, and made her faith her own during her teenage years. Since that moment, she has dreamed of working as a missionary, and has a burden to bring the gospel to those who don’t know Jesus.

“It’s an amazing responsibility and blessing we have to reach out to people. London is huge and there’s a lot of opportunities to share the gospel. People need to know that God loves them.”

Isabella now works as a Mission Associate in Newham, specialising in Children, Youth and Schools. She is seeking to equip and inspire everyday Christians in local churches to lovingly bring a message of hope in Christ to those least likely to hear it. This looks like supporting churches to run kids' clubs and English classes, and training up new volunteers. She also helps connect churches with local schools and nearby refugee centres to host activities and share the good news of Jesus.

"Newham is one of the most diverse boroughs in London. With a recent influx of people who have fled their homes to come to the UK, the area now is home to many people who lack the basic essentials, and more importantly, they lack eternal hope and peace”.

“That's why we are working alongside churches that have a heart for unreached people, to welcome those who are displaced and share the life-changing news of Jesus with them. We need to equip every Christians to reach the minority groups here with the gospel, and my desire is to witness God being glorified in the lives of those who do not yet know him.”

Isabella moved from São Paulo to London with her husband Victor in the summer of 2022.
