Benedict Musola

Project Worker at The Cornerhouse

"My vision is to see men who are homeless restored to wholeness by the power of God’s love."

Benedict came to faith in his teenage years after attending a holiday club run by missionaries. They invited him to attend church, where he heard Jesus’ invitation to new life for the first time.

Since then, Benedict has served in numerous ways, including working for another London-based charity, where he became aware of the impact and ministry of LCM. He felt called to join the mission and was excited when the opportunity came to join us in 2022.

“My heart for mission is simple: to share the good news of God’s love with others.”

Benedict is a Night Project Worker at The Corner House – a short-term supported accommodation project that helps men turn the corner from rough sleeping. Through daily meals, weekly Bible studies, and building friendships, Benedict shares the good news of God’s love. He also supports guests with the practical tasks of getting back on their feet.

Many people experiencing homelessness also suffer from addictions and trauma. The average life expectancy for a rough sleeper is in their mid-40s, and 15% of rough sleepers lose their lives to suicide. Many have been deprived of the basic needs of food, shelter, and clothing, but also of the love and respect they deserve. So, The Corner House provides a refuge where men can be loved and supported both practically and spiritually.

“My vision is to see men who are homeless restored to wholeness by the power of God’s love.”

When he’s not working, Benedict loves sports and travelling the world.
