• Empathy – dealing with marginalised people who are under daily pressure, and often socially isolated.
• 5 years in the faith with good Bible knowledge and ability to share relevantly from God’s word.
• Well-supported and discipled in your home church.

The community centre team have a big heart for, and have been ministering to, the South Asian community in the area for 22 years. The team is well-known in the area for taking great care of the community. God is really causing this ministry to flourish. On Wednesdays, the drop-in and Bible study are well-attended by believers and seekers -- there is a good sense of community being built up, something which is often lacking in other church settings for this community. There are those attending who are needing discipleship; many seekers who are needing to hear the gospel. There is a big need for more community and church support for this community, as they are often isolated. There is a great sense of belonging, fellowship in the word and support for seekers and believers, they feel loved and a sense of belonging at the centre, in a way they don't experience in their own community. The centre’s vision is to work with LCM, various other organisations and churches for a greater gospel offering; and more holistic care. The local community is marginalised and needs lots of spiritual care and practical help.
