This Christmas, your £24 can help a rough sleeper
Homelessness is on the rise! In London, more than 150 people sleeping rough will die this year, at an average age of just 44.
Every day, more than 80 rough sleepers come through the doors of Webber Street, London City Mission’s day centre for people who are homeless. They are desperate, hurting and struggling.
This Christmas, you can give £24 to provide someone who’s homeless with a hot meal, friendship and practical help – AND they can hear about Jesus, who can meet their deepest needs.
Your generosity today can even help to lift someone out of homelessness. Someone like Brian...
Brian never planned to end up on the streets. After weeks on the streets, Brian felt hopeless and suicidal.
“It was hard, it was difficult. I didn’t see much point in life,” said Brian.
But thanks to someone like you, Brian came to Webber Street, and received clothes and hot food. The staff were caring and kind. He listened to the gospel talk. Brian learned that God loves him.
Today, Brian works in a restaurant, he’s part of a church family and he’s rebuilt his relationship with his daughter. God changed Brian’s life – and He can change others too.
Your gift of £24 can provide the same care for someone else who’s homeless this winter.
