Diaspora Conference

Are there tensions in your church between the older and younger generations?

Those who have moved to the UK from a different country often have different insights, perspectives and concerns from their children and grandchildren who were born here. In churches, these differences can result in tensions and division – limiting the potential to reach people with the gospel.

Perhaps you’re a church leader whose cultural insights are rejected by your younger members. Or maybe you left your parents’ church because your calling and gifts were not recognised.

What if there was a way for us to work together to make Jesus known in this great city?

Join us for the LCM Diaspora Conference, where we'll bring together older and younger generations of Christians from Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and elsewhere, to listen to and learn from each other's experiences, and create practical solutions to overcome the divides.

This isn't about long presentations from experts. Instead, we'll be facilitating dialogue and collaboration between delegates, adopting a problem-solving framework that empowers everyone to generate practical ideas for how we can bridge the gap between different generations and cultures, and work collaboratively to share our faith with people from all backgrounds in London.

This conference is likely to be the first step in a longer journey, but our goal is for you to leave with a renewed sense of hope, practical ideas, and a deeper commitment to reach out together – making Jesus known to the diverse peoples of London.

Sign up today for this unique opportunity to connect with other believers, learn from their experiences, and work together to make Jesus known.
