Sign up for LCM’s Big Brew and raise vital funds to reach the 1 in 2 people in London who have not yet heard of the lifesaving message of Jesus.

Join others taking part in London City Mission’s Big Brew. It’s easy - invite your friends, family, church or colleagues, put the kettle on, have a chat and maybe even treat yourselves to some cake! The funds you raise will help someone in London hear the gospel for the first time.

This is a wonderful opportunity for you to share the work of London City Mission with your friends over a cup of tea (or coffee).

TELL PEOPLE

Use the invitation cards, poster and post on social media to spread the news about your Big Brew coffee morning. Make sure you add the time, date and venue, and your contact details.

INVITE A MISSIONARY

An LCM missionary would love to join your coffee morning for half an hour via Zoom or in person! They’ll share about what they do and how you can be praying for them.

If you’ve requested for a missionary to join, we’ll be in touch to arrange this for you. If you’d like to request a missionary, just call or email us.

RALLY THE BAKERS

A coffee morning isn’t a coffee morning without cake – so why not see if some of your guests can bake a tasty treat to bring? You’ll also need to stock up on tea, coffee, milk, etc. We’re sure you know what you’re doing!

PLAN THE MORNING

We'll provide you with all the resources you need like quiz cards, donation forms, short films and even a missionary!

After your event, please send your ‘Friends of LCM’ form to us using the envelope provided in your pack together with the completed donation forms.

WHY YOU SHOULD DO IT

50% of people in London do not have a Christian friend to invite them to Church, share their faith or read them a Bible. This is a tragedy.

Your support through the LCM’s Big Brew will help someone to hear the good news of Jesus for the first time. Your participation will allow LCM missionaries working alongside churches to reach communities who are unlikely to hear about Jesus. People like Naz, who was an atheist but gave his life to Jesus.

Naz's story

“I was an atheist and didn’t believe in God. My heart was cold.”

Naz is a young Londoner who was angry, depressed and felt empty. He was among the 50% who don’t know a Christian. Thanks to supporters like you, Naz gave his life to the Lord and now attends church twice a week, has joined a Bible study group, and is part of the community outreach team.
