One Lord. One city. One life-changing experience. That’s the vision of the London City Mission one-week Summer School.

Described by last year’s participants as “enlightening, challenging and encouraging”, the week aims to give a taster of life on the urban mission field.

  • Biblical. Each morning is spent grappling with the principles of mission in the city. Learning from specialist practitioners, there’s an opportunity to look at cross-cultural evangelism, reaching out to the homeless, ministering to unreached people groups and more.
  • Practical. Most afternoons are spent in the field visiting projects, meeting missionaries and discovering what life is like at the cutting edge of urban mission.
  • Relevant. Each day the principles and practicalities weave together to deliver an inspiring introduction to the privilege of urban mission in general and the ministry of London City Mission in particular.

So, if you’re aged 18-80+ and have a heart for sharing the gospel in the city, why not set aside a week of your summer to be encouraged and equipped?

This year the Summer School runs from 8-12 June. Further details can be found on our website here or by emailing summerschool@lcm.org.uk.
