Meet our Leadership Team

Our Leadership Team oversees the strategic direction of London City Mission and its members lead various departments within the organisation.

The team is led by Graham Miller, our Chief Executive.

Graham Miller

Chief Executive

Graham joined London City Mission as Chief Executive in October 2013. Prior to that, he had worked as a missionary for Crosslinks in China and led a number of businesses and charities in the UK, Europe and East Asia.

Nick Allenson

Finance Director

Nick joined London City Mission in 2016 to lead the Finance, Property, Fundraising and IT teams. He comes with extensive financial and strategic management experience, having worked in senior finance roles for large commercial organisations over the previous twenty years. His responsibilities include ensuring that LCM prayerfully stewards its physical and financial resources as the Mission enters a season of growth.

Alan Black

Director of Studies
Deputy Chief Executive

Alan is responsible for developing our training and mentoring programme. Training opportunities vary from one-day Practical Evangelism Courses, to our week-long Summer School, to the Urban Mission Course for new mission team recruits.

Duncan Cuthill

Director of Ministries

Duncan works with Field Directors Jo Sayer and Terry Puttick, and Ministries Development Manager Jonathan Durante, to support and oversee our dedicated outreach team of team leaders, city missionaries, mission associates and volunteers.

Judith Lace

Human Resources Director

Judith joined London City Mission in 2014 to lead the HR team. She comes with a wealth of experience, having worked with Christian organisations for 15 years. Judith is passionate about seeing people flourish in the skills and giftings that God has given them, and about helping to provide an environment where that can happen.

Jo Sutton

Communications & Programme Director

Jo is responsible for our communications with supporters, partners and staff, as we share stories of what God is doing through our ministries and inspire people to get involved. She also assists the CEO and Leadership Team in the planning, delivery, reviewing and reporting of our annual programme of strategic activity and projects.

Helen Thorne

Training and Mentoring Director

Helen leads the Training and Mentoring team who are passionate about equipping staff and churches in cross-cultural mission. Training opportunities range from our Pioneer scheme and Summer School, through to Practical Evangelism Training days and written resources. Previously, Helen has worked as a tutor, author and biblical counsellor.
