City Missionary

lcm_pamaram

The London City Mission partners the churches of London in sharing Jesus with the millions who are outside the church in ‘the capital of the world’. Our mission staff go to the people of London, especially those in social, personal or economic need. They go to them:

  • Where they live – thorough community ministries based on local churches or the Mission’s own centres, and through schools work

  • Where they work – through chaplaincy ministries, especially among the transport and emergency services

  • Where they have settled – through specialised ministries to immigrants ansd ethnic minorities

  • Where they are marginalised – through ministries to prisons, homeless people, and street people

  • Where they are being cared for – through hospital visiting, and pastoral work in Care Homes for the elderly
