Please Pray
'Pray for us ... that God may open a door for our message, so that
we may proclaim the mystery of Christ.' (Colossians 4:3)
Thank you for your prayers on our behalf. We feel the benefit of that unseen company of God's people who help us by prayer: We depend upon it. Pray that many in this needy city will be born again and shine as lights in a dark place.

Prayer Update – Wednesday 1 February 2012
Donald Stewart would value your prayers as he was taken into hospital last week and has needed to have a pace-maker fitted. This all happened rather suddenly and unexpectedly and so the past days have gone by in a whirlwind, but Donald and his wife Dorina are now at home. They are so thankful to God who has been their rock throughout this time. They also give thanks for what the doctors have been able to do and for friends who have stood alongside them in these difficult days. Please continue to pray for Donald as he now recuperates, and for Dorina as she cares for him.
Missionary Daniel Martin and his wife Diane had a baby girl on Monday, a sister for Caleb and Elijah. Please pray for them and rejoice with them over God’s gift of a new member of their family.
Petra Zimmermann, in her visiting around Covent Garden, will be holding an afternoon tea for the residents in a sheltered housing complex on Wednesday. Petra says that this is a good opportunity to make links with the new housing officer there, and would value prayer for a good relationship to develop. Please pray too for deep and spiritual conversations to take place during this occasion.
This Wednesday, 1 February, is the Mission’s monthly Team Day, when all the staff will be in Headquarters for a time of preaching, training, news update and fellowship. It is always a busy time, especially for the Headquarters staff who will be dealing with many different members of staff. Please pray for a day of real blessing for all concerned.
Finally, Darren Dotson asks for prayer for two mums who have asked if they can do a Bible study. He will be meeting with them next week and asks us to pray as he seeks to show them that God is faithful through his word.
Well thank you for your prayers for London City Mission. We are very grateful. God bless you.
