Cafe Forever 'Summer Project'
Cafe Forever runs a 'Summer Project' in the local park during August. There are activities for all ages every day. Capital Kids (please see above)
Capital runs training events and Fun Days throughout the year, working with churches and LCM Centres inside the M25. For those who have a heart for children’s ministry, then this is a great way to contribute to the long term ministries at LCM and gain some valuable training.
|
Tell-a-Tourist (please see above)
London is a major landmark on the world map of most tourists - this creates a great opportunity to tell the world about Jesus. Tell-a-Tourist is a week long summer programme devoted to open air evangelism throughout the capital where you’re able to engage with people from all over the world. This is especially important because many people come from areas where there is no gospel ministry.

Application Process
It is the London City Mission's policy to require relevant staff and volunteers to obtain a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) police check, or the equivalent in their own country, prior to beginning work. For UK residents this is done through the Mission as the final part of the application process.
In addition, all LCM workers agree to our Statement of Faith and Conduct. Please read it carefully before submitting your application.
You will find full details about applying by following the links below. Please take care to read the guidance notes for the application form before completing and sending it to us. There are two versions of some documents; one in pdf format and one as a Microsoft WORD form. The advantage of the WORD form is that it may be completed using your computer and simply emailed to us.
